KOTIPELTO, JON OLIVA'S PAIN, CHRIS CAFFERY Confirmed For Belgium's PESTPOP Festival

KOTIPELTO (the solo band of STRATOVARIUS frontman Timo Kotipelto),JON OLIVA'S PAIN (featuring SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva) and CHRIS CAFFERY (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist) are among the confirmed bands for the Pestpop festival, set to take place April 20-21 at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium. All three acts will play the main stage on April 21. JON OLIVA'S PAIN is also scheduled to play an acoustic show on April 20. Bands that are confirmed to appear on the second stage on April 21 include WANHOOP, THEUDHO, KLUDDE and HEIMAT.

As previously reported, Timo Kotipelto has set "Serenity" as the title of the third KOTIPELTO album, tentatively due in early 2007 via his own label, High and Loud Records. The CD was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland and was mixed by Mikko Karmila. A video for the album's first single, "Sleep Well", has been posted online at YouTube.com.

The "Sleep Well" single is scheduled for release in Finland on January 10, 2007.

KOTIPELTO's sophomore solo album, "Coldness", was released in Europe in April 2004 through Century Media Records.
